My name is Kelly Francisco and I am a fourth generation stone mason. I've been dealing with stone personally for 25+ years. My great grandfather, Price Francisco, began this business in 1883. He taught his son, my grandfather Frank, who proudly built many of the bridges in Virginia along the Blue Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive. My father Larry continued the family craft chiseling mountain stone into works of art that now stand in the Roanoke Valley as landmarks. He taught me beginning at the age of eleven how to transform rough stone into things of beauty like my ancestors before me. The colors of rock in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia are some of the most colorful you will find anywhere. Unlike plain yellows or grays from other parts of the country, the rock we have will brighten up any landscape and at the same time blend with it's surroundings.
